Looking for the perfect Mother’s Day gift? Treat your mom - or yourself and a group of friends - to our Spring into Beginner Cake Decorating workshop! This fun and hands-on experience is a sweet way to spend time together while learning a new skill. Over the course of three sessions, you’ll explore the essentials of cake decorating, including how to make icing, baking and proper cake structure, filling and icing, piping beautiful flowers, and even writing personalized messages. On the final night of class, you'll use the skills you've learned to decorate your own personal cake to take home with you!
When: Mondays, May 4, 11 & 18, 6pm - 8pm
Location: Central Campus, the STEAM Factory (TSF) Room 100
All supplies and instruction included in the cost.
Students will take a cake decorating kit home with them on the final night of class (5/18/26) that will include: 24 piping tips, 2 spatulas, 3 icing comb scrapers, one 11" cake turntable, 2 couplers, 4 bag ties, 2 reusable pastry bags, 50 disposable piping bags, & 6 cupcake liners.
*Items will be used during class, so you may leave with less piping bags, etc.
Please wear appropriate clothing for working with cake and decorating materials and bring your own apron if you have one.
